The history of Uttar Pradesh RTO (UP RTO) is drawn from 1947 and was initially named UP Government Roadways. Under the provision of the Road Transport Act of 1950, it was renamed Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) on the 1st of June, 1972. Why do you need to register your vehicle with Uttar Pradesh RTO?

Renewal of Registration Certificate in Uttar Pradesh RTO
The validity of a registration certificate issued by UP RTO is 15 years from the date of issue. If you wish to use your vehicle continuously, renewal of the registration certificate is required. You need to renew the registration certificate within 60 days after the expiry. You need to submit the renewal fees at RTO UP with the necessary documents. Process to Get a Duplicate Registration Certificate from Uttar Pradesh RTO

Process to the Transfer of Vehicle Ownership in RTO UP
